Classification And Application of Signal Generator

Nov. 07, 2018

A Signal Generators, as the name implies, produces the signals we need. Signal generators are everywhere, from device testing to system level research and development, from chip development to instrument measurement.

Signal generators can be classified into low-frequency signal generators, high-frequency signal generators and microwave signal generators. According to the type of output signal classification, such as radio frequency signal generator, scan signal generator, frequency synthesizer, noise signal generator, pulse signal generator such as Arbitrary Waveform Generators 1μHz to 60MHz and so on. Nowadays, with more and more modulation modes, vector signal generators which can output the commonly used modulation signals in digital communication are also widely used. Even ultra-small sources, such as USB, are starting to join the big family of signal generators.
