Introduction of Wiring Combinations of SA2200 Power Quality Analyzer

Aug. 16, 2024

Power quality analyzer is an important tool for monitoring and evaluating the performance of a power system, which is capable of measuring and analyzing various parameters in the power system such as voltage, current, frequency, power factor, etc., and key indicators such as harmonics and unbalance. In order to accurately measure and analyze these parameters, power quality analyzers need to be able to adapt to different wiring combinations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurements.

Different countries and regions may have different power system structures and standards, such as three-phase three-wire system and three-phase four-wire system. Supporting multiple wire connections allows the power quality analyzer to adapt to a variety of different power system configurations, thus providing a wider range of applications.

Some specific devices or systems may require specific wiring for accurate measurements. For example, some equipment may only need to measure three-phase voltages and currents without a ground or neutral wire, and the power quality analyzer needs to support the appropriate wiring to meet the measurement needs of these equipment.

Besides, different wiring combinations may have an impact on the measurement results, so by supporting multiple wiring combinations, power quality analyzers can provide more accurate measurement results in specific situations. For example, in some cases, the use of specific wiring combinations can reduce measurement errors and improve measurement accuracy and reliability.

Our Class A power quality analyzer SA2200 support 10 kinds of wiring combinations, shown in the following figures:
